Frequently Asked Questions

We repair scooters & power wheelchairs, including batteries, chargers, Tires & Tubes, and more.

  • Check the Power Source:
Ensure that the power outlet you are using is functional. Test it with another device, such as a lamp or phone charger.

  • Inspect the Charger:
Look for any visible damage on the charger, such as frayed wires or burnt plugs.
  • Ensure that the charger is correctly plugged into both the power outlet and the scooter or wheelchair.

  • Examine the Battery:
Confirm that the battery connections are clean and secure. Look for corrosion or loose terminals.
  • Check the battery age; if it’s more than 1-2 years old, it may need to be replaced.

  • Inspect the Charging Port:
Look for dirt or debris in the charging port on the scooter or wheelchair. Clean it gently if needed.

  • Test the Charger:
if you have access to another compatible charger, try using it to see if the scooter or wheelchair charges.

  • Check Battery Status:
If your scooter or wheelchair has a battery gauge, check if it shows any charge.
  • If available, use a multimeter to test the battery voltage. Compare it to the specifications in the user manual.

  • Reset the System:
Turn off the scooter or wheelchair and disconnect the charger. Wait a few minutes, then reconnect and turn it back on.

  • Look for Error Codes:
If the scooter or wheelchair has a display, check for any error codes that may indicate the problem. Refer to the user manual for interpretations.

  • Evaluate Environmental Factors:
Ensure that the scooter or wheelchair is being charged in a suitable temperature range, as extreme heat or cold can affect charging.
  • Consult the Manual:
Refer to the owner's manual for specific troubleshooting steps and recommendations related to your model.

  • Seek Professional Assistance:
If the issue persists after following these steps, contact a qualified technician or your equipment provider for further diagnosis and repair.
